A Road-to-Trail Shoe for Mixed Routes

The men's Challenger 8 is HOKA's go-between shoe, cushioned enough for pavement and grippy enough for dirt paths and gravel. If your runs mix sidewalks with park trails or fire roads, it handles both without feeling out of place on either.

HOKA added more foam for this version, moved to a new last with a higher 8mm drop and a better fit through the forefoot and instep, and rearranged the 4mm lugs for traction in more directions. It weighs about 9.7 oz in HOKA's men's listing.
